Approach

My approach is integrative and takes into account the interactions between psychological processes, bodily experience, and the socioeconomical and cultural context of each individual. My theoretical references include cognitive-behavioral therapies and humanistic perspectives such as Gestalt and the person-centered (Rodgerian) approach.

I have a particular interest in experiences of grief, including disenfranchised forms of grief, especially the loss of companion animals and service animals.

My background includes training and experience in social psychology, notably in areas related to sustainable development and social engagement, as well as in clinical psychology, with a focus on living with physical illness and pain.

I am committed to offering a therapeutic space that is ethical, secure, and respectful of individual identities. My practice is informed by feminist perspectives and is affirming of LGBTQIA+ individuals.

I aim to provide thoughtful, respectful psychological support, accompanying individuals in their personal process of reflection and self-understanding.
